well im a Lexus IS300 owner but i love the CL-S's and were having a CAR meet on Sat march 3....yes this saturday...at 1pm in the parking lot of GAME WORKS in schaumburg

there will be like 5-6 IS300's a couple Supras (i hope) and whoever else would like to come...
Its just a get together for car enthusiests

No racing please.....we all know the CL-S can beat an IS300.....you can try the SupraTT though....hehe

The Battle of The Import will be at Joliet Route 66 dragway. Last year i was there i saw one person with a stock CL-S that only made one run 14.9 1/4 mile. So who is this guy with a Red CL-S?

Do you guys think i can get the Acura dealer on higgins to include free install of springs and sway bars while i am purchasing the car? Of course i would pay for the spring and sway bars.. but i dont want to pay for the intstall....

That ain't gonna happen jackum....They probably won't do the install for you cuz the service department runs on an appointment basis.. Besides, the spring and sways are not Acura parts so they won't have the techs work for free. If I were you I would ask ahead of time and ask them if they can setup time to do it on the delivery date. This way you'd be able to get a better deal of not being charged up da ass for labor.. I'm assuming that you haven't already paid for the car. If that's the case then they'd do anything to make u happy to make that sell..

No i havent bought the car yet.. i have till June 1st.. and the wait is killing me.. Damn leases, i hate waiting!! Plus we have bought a 99 RL at that dealer, so they know us, And might i add those guys are great, even the service department. WE use to have a 96 RL and we bought it from elmurst, off of lake and grand, and those guys suck when it comes to customer service, just to let you guys know if your looking for a great dealer, the one by woodfield is the best!

im from chicago too.. actually from the arlington hts. area.... so a meet at woodfield would be awesome sometime... just earlier today i noticed a black CL-S with tint pass right by me... any of you out there ??? it was off of Golf and Busse Rd.. just wondering... the car was an IDENTICAL replica of mine... it was pretty cool !

oh, one more thing... my dealership is also Woodfield Acura.. they've been pretty good so far.. i've had my car for about 2 weeks and finally decided that i should take it back to them since it had some swirl marks on it that needed buffing... while they gave me some heat at first, they were ok with it and i made an appointment to bring it back to them to get it fully detailed, as if they were delivering it new again... and while i was there, they didn't charge me to put in my Polarg's and stuff.... so , they're cool and am definitely going to make use of the free car washes there!

From Gurnee, moving to St.Charles in summer. I had my dealer in Libertyville wash my car on its first service visit and they put alot of scratches in it, I now have it in their system to never wash it, so be careful. I alway have believed that no one will take care of my paint and finish better than me. Have you guys tinted your cars yet,iif so, where is a good place to get it done and have you gotten any hassels from our wonderful officers of the law for the front windows?

I agree about the Acura wash system.. The carpet type of auto-wash rags scratched the hell out my car... It even left some carpet gunk on the side of the car.. I recommend going to a hand wash place. Don't go through any of those Turtle Wax places that have huge spinning rags that slap the heck out your car. Trust me you'll regret it.
...As far as tint, don't put it on your front windshield. It's bad enough that I have it on my driver's/passenger side windows, but i'm lucky that i haven't been stopped yet.. Moreover, I think it's the color of my tint (mirror). It looks like a factory tint and isn't that obvious like black tints. U can see inside my car at most angles. However, there are times where u see nothing but your reflection. It's weird sometimes it looks like I have no tint, but seeing a reflection is what makes you go Whoah!!.. I'd go to a Car Boutique to get yours done. I got mine at a local car shop where I can do deals under the table, but Car Boutique I think would make sure they do a good job cuz of their rep.

...You guys should put up some pics of your ride so we know if we see each other out there.. Honk 3 times if you see me!!!!

...By the way Carboi, I'm on Golf a lot so it could have been me. The one sure way of knowing it's me is to listen out for the LOUD ass music bumping from my trunk. I think I piss off a lotta plp with it *LOL*.
