How many HP are gaining on AEM intake?

That thing roars hella loud when VTEC kicks in. Try on a hot day yesterday with hot air
which didn't do any good.

Most of the dyno's I have seen range b/w 8-10hp. I had my V6 Accord dyno'd and it was just that, 8-10hp in the upper rev range, but that was with the Short Ram.

Yes, I've bought 2001 CLS "satin silver" in March 2001.
I've spent quite alot of my time as a hobby mechanic. Thanks for you guys with all this tips that I already just drop Comptech header, Sway Bars, and AEM CAI.
Very satisfied with it.
Also I've got two of my co-workers bought the same car.

Per a phone call I made to AEM, according to the dyno chart they referenced it produces about 17hp at 6500 rpm peak and 12-14 ft/lbs torque at 3500-4500 RPM

Yes , i thought it seemed high also but the last time I mentioned this someone added by using the analogy that the "Type-S simply breathes better than the regular 3.2liter, note that the comptech headers make 18 hp at the wheels for 3.2 and 32 for 3.2 type-S"
Also a CAI is usually good for "about 5%hp increase" this is "about 7hp for a 150hp honda engine and 13 for a 260hp engine"
It is all relative...
