How do you jack off, no, jack up your CL?

Curious to find out how you guys jack up your car. It'd be nice to afford a hydraulic lift system for the garage, but I need to look at alternatives.

Just interested in lifting a few inches for oil changes, checking under the car, maybe removing wheels, etc.

Interested in safety and cost.

I guess the options are:

• drive up on curb (probably not too safe, but cheap)
• scissors jack in trunk (probably not too safe)
• hydraulic piston jack
• floor jack (seems too heavy to move about; expensive; bulky)
• car ramps (?safe)

floor jack and stands are probably your best bet.

I use a 3 ton jack and a pair of 3 ton jack stands that I got from Walmart. Price total - approx. $35. It's the safest way to do it on a budget.
