How can I tell if I have coilovers?

This might be a really stupid question but right now I know I have Koni Yellow Shocks/Struts but I do not know if I have ground control coilovers. I am have trouble fitting 225/40/18 tires on the front and the rims have a 45 offset. I am going to search for the little coilover tool but is there a simple way to tell. My thought is to adjust the front higher to give the 40 series tires fitting room. Any advice?
