Wink Honorable mentions...

Had a quick run in w/ a G35c 6spd (lowered, had either 18 or 19s, tint, taillight overlays...looked pretty sick) .... he was playing around w/ me for a little while before we got to an on-ramp for the 118E fwy. So finally I decided to give him a quick shot on the on-ramp. As soon as we both make the turn (he's behind me) ... we both nail it at around 20mph, going up-hill for the on-ramp. I get the car up to about 100 or so and he's a few car lengths behind me. Mind you, he started off about 1-2 cars behind, so I increased my lead by about a car or 2. At that time, I noticed he wasn't catching up, and traffic was coming up ahead, so I throw on the brakes to get next to him to see if we can do a hwy run (from around 80 or so) past the traffic, but he totally did a ricer fly-by. He must have flew by me at around 120-130ish, and he kept on going, which was extremely dangerous in the upcoming traffic. I figured he'd slow down, but he just kept on going, and within a minute he wasn't to be seen. I said fuck it and turned around. Then, on my way back on the 118W, I was behind a Z4 3.0i who was flooring it back and forth, so I knew he wanted to play. I got behind him, and the light turned green to turn left onto the freeway on-ramp (down-hill slope). As soon as he gets around the bend, he punches it, as do I. I'm about 2 car lengths behind him when we both floor it. By the time I reached the top of 2nd I was literally on his ass, so I threw on the brakes or else I'd nail him. We get in adjacent lanes with clear traffic, and he doesn't bite. So I just casually drove all the way home, and that was that. Fun night, but not fun guys to race though

At times, I feel like my car is extra peppy, in which case it did this night. I don't know? Maybe I'm trippin', or maybe I'm racing bad drivers. Either way, it's all in good fun

good runs. it's probably the cooler weather that give your car the pep.

good runs...i hate when people do the so called "ricer" fly by, especially w/heavy traffic ahead...i like just lining up on the open highway and going from a 60 roll.....better luck next time trying to get someone to line up w/you on the highway..

I hate 60mph rolls. Bottom of 3rd gear.

I like 20mph rolls the best. The car kicks down to 1st and I scare the shit out of the car next to me as the S/C winds up and breaks the tires loose. On the hwy, my favorite speed is about 75 mph and sittin' in 3rd. I punch it and 1/2 second later I'm enjoying VTEC up to 110.

I can't agree with you any more. Well, my 3 fav. spots are around 20-25, 45-50, and around 75-80. It all depends on where you stand of course

yeah for sure, I know what you're saying. I've only noticed the camaro CHP's closer to the 405 part of the 118 however. Or perhaps east of Reseda. I usually stick to west of Reseda. How you been Brian?
