honda leather/vinyl/rubber protectant?

has anybody used this product? it comes in a metal can with spray top. how well does it work? i sprayed a little bit on my tire and it looks like armor all.
i was in my local honda dealership making an appointment for an oil change. while i was there i asked the service manager for his opinion on a very, very small rip on the driver's seat cover. he told me that from the looks of it, it's considered wear and tear and it didnt warrent a warrenty replcement. he asked me if i used leather conditioner and i said i did. he then asked me if i had honda's leather conditioner and i told him i didn't. he then disapeared into the parts dept. and came back with a can and placed it on the floor of the passenger seat and walked away from the car. i thought he was going to get a rag to apply some, but as he was walking away he patted me on the back and said "see you friday"
i think he did that because i tip the guys who work on my car and the service manager told me that he appreaciated that because nobody else does that.

nope, i haven't used it yet. quite frankly, i'm afraid to apply it on my leather becasue that stuff really looks like armor all. it says on the bottle that it is silicone based, so i'm not so sure i won't end up sliding around in my seat. i'm holding out until i get at least some kind of opinion from someone who's actually used it.

Use Lexol, that stuff works the best and it's rather inexpensive. Get the cleaner and conditioner. They sell it at Pepboys, but here in Cleveland we have to go to Ace hardware or a Petsmart(Horses saddles), to purchase it. It has the proper ph balance for the leather.
