Honda Engineers?

Hey guys,
Are there any Honda Engineers that visit this forum? Just wanted to know if anyone is taking note of the questions and problems we're having. BTW, I'm going to be getting a new Type-S within the next few months.

heh heh... we do have one mechanic... Jens is the name I believe. Not sure about any engineers though. If they were smart, they'd probably not let us know that as they'd be bombarded with questions. Hell... I'd probably end up with a restraing order against me j/k

Oh no i have been spotted!!!! eeeek!!! Yes I am guilty,I am a car mechanic for Park Ave Acura.Several of my coworkers including another mechanic and my boss visit this site and others like it.It is interesting to see what problems are cropping up that we have not yet seen at the dealer.Wherever we can we try to provide accurate information if it asked for.Don't be surprised if more than a few engineers read this site, though it is unlikely they will identify themselves this site is an amazing resource for what our cars and their owners are doing out there.Jens

Back in the H-A.NET days my dealership told me that several of the salesman and mechanics used to “lurk” there.
I don’t know if they followed us here through the two site moves.

BTW, you would also need to be more specific. There are many different engineers beginning from the design stage to manufacturing.

Design engineers also vary, there are body and interior design engineers. What we are probably most interested in are the drivetrain engineers, engine and transaxle...

On the other side, many manufacturing engineers know very little about the whole vehicle and it's components. They know how to keep the lines moving and improve production.
