Zapata- My girl drives a 2000 CRV-SE and loves the thing!
I had it in the snow last year and it did real well.
I took it on the beach down in Hatteras N.C. to-had to run it at like 15 psi due to the highway tyres Honda provides. But no probs.
Overall, it has pretty good power based sim. on the DOHC integra
engine and handles real well with the AWD system. I would suggest going to Scott Honda and drive one.
Anything else?

Sweet. Pretty good lease deals out right now. Much cheaper than buying, which is great for my mom. After looking at the options I like the SE trimline because it has ABS. We'll see...... I'll just demand he get me an SE......otherwise like george costanza says, ".....threaten the walk out!, I'll walk right outta here". hehe
thanks for the info!

The 2002 CR-V is getting really good reviews. They say the extra 20hp and 20 lb-ft do wonders for the car as weight has only increased by 50lbs or so. My friend had a '98 CR-V which still had the old 126hp engine. It was a complete dog - borderline dangerous to drive. I hear the 146hp '99-01 CR-V's weren't much better as the torque was still pathetic. Personally, I'd wait for the 2002 as they will easily be worth the extra money over the '01s.
