Sidemarker, you oughta be ashamed of yerself man! That's tractor pulling, not racing. There are modifieds, supermodified, stocks, and super stock classes (different weights, engine configs, blown, unblown, etc) that pull a sled 300 feet. There is a weight transfer box that starts at the back of the sled over wheels that gradually ends up over the hitch thereby putting greater weight on the tractor's real wheels and over the sled tray creating more drag. Not all tractors make a "full pull" and are beaten by others who go further down the track. If there's more than one full pull, they have a pull off w/ greater weight and they keep goin. I woulda thought Sidemarker wld have seen this before in Texas (lots of farms like NY) that's why I was bustin' yer balls! Art Arfons uses a Pratt & Whitney helicopter turbine to power his super modified tractor, ya oughta see the thing light up at nite!

Nothing new. I've watched tractor pulling contest on car channels before. If you think that's weird, wait till you see the 6 V8 engine brackets.

BTW...he's doing a wheelie not because he's going fast...but its because he's pulling a small building.

Can you say MULLET FILLED ARENA????

Actually, I used to watch tractor pulling and had forgot all about. The neatest thing was thin they had the monster trucks pull the sled.

At a local track near my house every year they have a demolition derby, and the feature event is the School Bus Demolition Derby, where only full-sized school buses are allowed. That's some serious carnage watching 20 of those biotches smash into each other.

Yep, usually a 1/4-mile or larger track with no permanent fixtures in the middle. Observe:

You can catch this on TNN? What about the SWAMP BUGGY races? Now that Sh!t is funny.

Look at that picture closely. I challenge anyone to find a face that isn't white.
