I don't find too many people to race around here, so this is about as interesting as it gets for me.

I was driving home today, in the left lane with people in front of me. Then this new Silverado SS comes flying up behind me. So I was like "cool, someone to play with." When I found a hole I punched it and took off, with him following. Then he found a hole and took off, so I cut over to follow him and he slams on his brakes! I don't know what this guys problem was. So after having to slow down behind this dick, I cut around him and floored it. He must have had exhaust cause I could really hear when he got on it, and he definitely floored it. But I just continued to pull on him. I stayed ahead of him for a while until my exit came up, then I slowed down and pulled into the right lane. And this asshole gave me the finger!

I guess he was just pissed his big 6.0L V-8 got pulled on by a little 3.2L V-6.

Nice kill! I hate the new SS, I would rather have a Lightning anyday.

 

I think they are nice for a Silverado, but for that kind of $$, I'd definitely be sportin a Lightning.

 

Hell yes, they may have AWD, but they dont have almost 400 hp, and damn near 500 with the new lightning. I can't decide if its that or the redesigned Cobra for me, when it hits in like 2005

i dont know what chevy was thinking when they came out with the ss as far as i know it runs a 14.9 which isnt slow but it is know lightning of cl-sand for 40k there is no way in hell i would ever buy that thing
