Higher wattage road lamps...
Has anyone experienced any problems with replacing the road lamps with higher wattage bulbs?
I'd like to get the Polarg M6 18 watt bulbs but don't want to melt the housing or run into any other problems.

P.S. Two words: SEARCH and FAQ
Someone used a 27 watt bulb with no apparent melting. That same someone tried a 39 watt bulb and that didn't work so well.

The M6 Polargs look so much better than those weak 5 watt ole'yellows. There is little clearance to get those bulbs through the reflector housing so be x-tra careful not to snap the bulb base.
Good luck
