i was looking into buying a 6 speed with 72000 miles, the person is asking $14999,would there be any reasons not to buy that high of mileage?i work at an acura dealership,so i can get parts and service pretty cheap if anything goes wrong, but i wasnt really sure about the mileage.thanks

Actually, I think you should be paying at least $20K for it. In fact, I'm insulted that you are paying less. No, I'm not biased just because mine has over 75K.

Kidding aside, you have nothing to worry about. The car is prety bulletproof is driven sanely.

Make sure you do the throw-out bearing test on it. Start it, open the door, shifter in Neutral and depress the clutch. You should NOT hear any whirring sounds from underneath.

If you work at an Acura dealer, just have one of the service techs to check it out before you buy it. They work on them all the time, so they could give it a good going over and tell whats up. They are great cars if they are taken care of.

Good price

My advice is to inspect the seller. If its an old person buy it, if the owner is 18 have it checked first
