Hid Burnt Out??

my passenger side headlights burnt out..a friend of mine tried installing new bulbs in there but he said it wasnt the bulb because it kept burning the fuse.. does anyone here know of a good place in the houston, TX area where i can get this checked out and fixed??

As HID's get older, more pressure builds up attempting to ignite and maintain the arc discharge...eventually the voltage needed to maintain the arc is more than the ballast provides, which causes the light to go out. Try turning the lights off for a bit and then turning them back on, should give you short term light until they again reach that tipping point. Eventually though, you will need a newbie...

it might be the inverter because that is what happen when my inverter went out

^^ pretty strange but i just had this replaced today, took it to Davis Acura to get a new bulb and was told it wasn't the bulb... it was the inverter

still under warranty so, didnt cost a thing
