Hhit a pothole... $%#W#%!!
I hit a pothole... $%#W#%!! and busted a wheel up pretty good. Now I'm stuck with either buying a factory wheel for almost four bills or getting some aftermarket wheels.
What I drive: 2001 Acura TYPE S
What I know I need: a +45 offset. 5x114.3 bolt pattern
What I want: 18’s maybe 19’s if they won’t rub and will clear the brake calipers.
What I don’t know: why do I see some people getting +48 offset for our car will that work too?
I’m also looking to get some comptech exhausts, anyone ever order from www.autocarparts.com ? I'm thinking about buying comptech exhaust from them and the price seems lower then anyone else.
As always anyone’s help is greatly appreciated.

Well you could prob find a wheel on ebay for cheaper then 400. And if you want to buy aftermarket wheels and an exhaust get ready to drop some loot. Also a 45 and up offset will work, you will rub depending on the drop of the car with a 45 offset. I rub on eibachs with a 45offset but after i rolled the fenders in i rub only on big railroad tracks and sometimes deep bumps.

still a Masshole
You can go as low as a 42 offset but most recommend 45-55. ACP has been a vendor here and at A-TL so they are generally recommended. I say get aftermarket wheels and start by looking in the blackmarket section here.
