Hey Techies, see what you can do with this . . . Motorola DC800

The Motorola DC800 is a bluetooth receiver that is made for home stereos and computers, but could it be used in a car with a stock/aftermarket stereo/headunit? I realize this must be something that is coming as bluetooth wireless technology is the new wave of electronics but I don't want to wait anymore. I have a BlackBerry (not into IPods, so don't ask) with thousands of songs in it that can be played with stereo sound through bluetooth but there is no system I am aware of that will support it in a car. Can the Motorola DC800 be wired to my CL unit???

Only way you could use that is to buy a aux input adapter from like blitzsafe.

The CL stock HU has no bluetooth & RCA inputs.
But why? If you got the aux adapter you could just hookup your source direct. No need for any wireless.

I HATE WIRES. I would rather just keep the phone in my pocket while I play the music. Thanks for the heads up though, You really think that is all I would need?

You would still have to wire in the Motorola to the adapter & find a place to mount it. So your going to get wires anyway you look at it.

wiring the unit to the radio and mounting it won't be a problem. I just want to be able to play music from the source without wires.
