Hey guys I'm new to this web board .

So far I'm pretty impressed by this board and I really like it alot Well I joined this board b/c about 2 weeks ago I purchased a new 2001 Acura CL Type-S . It's got the silver / ebony and I just got the factory wing put on today . My future plans for this car is Aem cold air induction and some 18in rims . If you guys have any other suggestions on what other kinds of mods would be good on this car I would like to know . I also wanted to know how long did you guys break in your cars before you got on it , And If It's me or is the engine not as quiet as it was when i first got it . Thanks guys I'm pretty sure I'll be sticking around here . Peace

welcome . is econd that idea of using the search function before you post something new or visit the Extremely Useful Topics section. Regrading the mods to the car, think about lowering the car when you get the rims unless you like looking like an SUV and dont forget to install new aftermarket shocks. Do a search and you'll find which brand to go with and all that. Don't forget about the header($1,200!!), they add about 30 more hp, but a lil too much $$ if you ask me. also do a search for that topic too, laterz man.

Welcome to the family!
For most mod questions, see my sig for the CL FAQ.

I haven't organized prices, but try going to www.parkaveacura.com/comptech to see Park Ave's prices. It doesn't get any fairer than Park Ave.

i got them used but in good shape, everything for $600. You need something for a honda prelude??? The exahust itself goes for like $500, headers $310 and the intake like $130 Let me know what you need and i'll tell you where you get it cheap

Welcome aboard.
Mods you want to do for your Cl-S are all listed in FAQ. I personally ripped out the crappy Bose shit in my car & replaced with high-end brand names. Up-graded suspension with Comptech sways resulted day & nite differ as Sid said. Well, spent some times with your new ride & get to know how much can you push it first, then spent $$ to push it more. I always consider it as a project.

welcome to the board god

As for mods, you should do what YOU feel like YOU want to do. It is YOUR car and YOU should make it to YOUR style. Also make sure you have the MONEY to do what you want to do

Later Dantes
