Here is what my dealer said about my peeling leather seat

I stopped by Sunnyside Acura (Nashua NH) today at lunch and showed the service manager my seat which is peeling at the bolster and the leading edge where I get in the car. He said, "We can replace that one time only. You can do it now, or just about anytime before the end of warranty but if I try to put the same VIN through on warranty for this I generally get it kicked back by Acura. The problem is that the bolster sticks out so far in this car, that it wears when you get in. And will continue to do this. And if you didn't have the bolster, you'd slide around too much"

So, I need to noodle on this but I think I will set the memory seat on my key fob so the seat sits back far from the wheel. I can get in and hit the #2 memory button and the seat comes forward to the right location.

Good thinking... I may do the same thing to avoid the peeling that you are talking about. Still, I think Acura should replace it as many times under warranty as it needs. The warranty doesn't say "bumper to bumper except the seat bolster" does it?

What is a bolster? Im having severe problems with my car as far as its starting to rip and tons of marks on my leather. I have tried like everything. Does anyone kno whats the strongest leather cleaner available or anything that will just take anything off the leather.

Same problem. but I have a lot wrinkles with my leather. I do use leather cleaner and conditioner (Mother's) It feels softer and shinier. However, I can not stop the wrinkles from spreading. Get a look at the passanger seat and you see it like new

It's that thing that sticks out under your arm as you sit in the seat to keep you in your seat as you go around a corner. It's also that thing that hits you in the side as you get into the seat. Ouch!

Bolster... learned something new today.
Mine is wrinkling, that's it. but, I'm not a big guy, and I don't rub it that much.
