Help soldering fuel relay please!!!
hey guys, my car wont start, for a couple months it was giving me problems not wanting to start every now and then on the first try or having to wait a few minutes for it to start but now it wont start at all!! it cranks strong but it wont start, after a while i noticed that when i turned the key over i dont hear the fuel pump prime so i got on here and started searching through the threads and saw that a fuel pump relay is the cause most of the times and also that many people have resoldered them themselves, so i took mine off and cant tell what points should be connected to which, i was able to notice that 2 points might have been soldered together at one point but i dont want to risk it, does anyone have any pictures of what the solder connections are supposed to look like, i would really appreciate it, i called acura and they want 75 bucks and honda wants 65. thats a lot of money when i could just solder the points myself here at work. my car is a 2001 CL type-S. thanks a lot in advance guys.

I don't know where they solder it, but I have a good used one on the black market thread. https://acurazine.com/forums/car-parts-sale-361/fs-2001-cl-type-s-part-out-100s-parts-370282/ I didn't list it yet, but Ihave one, 30.00shipped fees included.

Some info that might be useful for anyone with a failing main relay:
The part number for the pgm-fi main relay I got from Acura is 39400-S82-A01. The baggie has a big fat HONDA logo on it. Which means you can prolly get it for 1/2 the price from Honda (I paid like 50). So...I got ripped off, oh well! Or mebbe u can get it online for 50 cents lol. I just didn't know the part number.
Props to Jproy, who helped me find out where the relay is: it's the 1.5" x 2" box with numbers 1 through 8 (4 is missing) sitting to the left of the brake solenoid thing (driver's orientation). SEVEN wires come out of it, 2 blue-orange, 2 yellow-green, 1 black....something like that. It's the only thing that looks that nearby.
It's gonna be REALLL HOT tomorrow. So let's see if changing out the main relay fixes my problem. Hopefully it will, even the dealership's saying bunch of people have been coming in to get that replaced because of the heat wave.
This website seems to explain symptoms and why it is shitty quite well: http://www.tegger.com/hondafaq/mainr...mainrelay.html
