do urself a favor and go to a couple of more shops w/ the full parts list that we have given u and ask the other shops what they're estimate would be. I have a feeling that rpm has no clue what they're getting into and u could get screwed in the long run. $1200 seems right for installation...ONLY ON A TRANY SWAP....figure at most $100 per hour in NY and thats 11 hours w/ tax included...which is about right ONLY ON A TRANS SWAP.....once u add everything else that installation price should rise to ATLEAST $2500!!

im leaning away from going mt swap. think i'll just go with better auto tranny, one that doesnt have a crappy 4th gear and one that won't disintegrate
