Help me understand this Carfax
http://cgi.ebay.com/ebaymotors/ws/eB...m=180084174682
This is a car I will probibly buy but I am curious about the last transaction when you click to look at the carfax report. It says it is for sale as an Acura Certified Car on 1/7/07, but now I am about to purchase it from a wholesaler.
Is there any reason that a car would go from being Acura Certified to wholesale'd in under a month?
Finally yall being the experts, is 13,800 a decent price for an 02 Type-S with 53000 miles?
Thanks!

Agreed, that is what made me question the Certified -> Wholesale switch.
I am going to have my friend check it out tommorow (hopefully) for any signs of water. I just figured that most dealers would keep the car on the lot for at least 60 days before sending it off.

My wife and I decided that we weren't going to buy a used car from anywhere around here (Houston) becuase a lot of my dad's former friends that own used car lots have heard of a lot of folks selling former hurricane cars in Houston at the local auctions or to private parties just as-is.
Good luck either way. It's a nice looking car.
By the way-is it safe to presume you're an SFA grad/student? We're both recent grads (Dec. 05)
