Help Me Again =]

well i want to black out my housing but im scared to mess up cause i cant afford another pair of headlights. so i was wondering if theres a DIY black housing? ive tried searching all night and i havent fonund one with pictures... any help would be nice thanks

try searching in the TL forum. i think i remember seeing it there. while your blacking them out you might as well clear them too

Take them out... disassemble the HID's and put them safely aside.

Heat gun around the edges of the lamps, don't concentrate too much on one spot or you'll bust your lamps. Gently pry it apart.

Make sure the black-goo doesn't get on the the reflective chrome.

Mask off. Paint. Dry. Use plumbers sealant silicone to seal up. Heat up the edges again and press the lense and housing together. Cure for 24 hours. Reinstall.

at home depot they sell a caulk for LEXAN it's by the plexy glass

so i can use a hair dryer instead of the oven right? cause the oven procedure scares me.

I'd save up & get a pair of 03 black housings on Ebay or from the black market here.
