HELP, Instrument Clock for non-navi

it is me? or does the CL with the non-navi, Clock display lights up when you turn on your instrument lights...cuz I can't recall if the CL is featured the Clock display to light on...... mine doesn't work or is it just like that

yes, it lights up with the instrument.

oh man....that sucks ass I just hope the dealer won't have remove my entire dash..then they might scratch my interior or won't put it on right...then my shit will rattle in the meantime
but thanks guys for your inputs.... just hope the techs won't damage anything

I had the same problem. I posted it in this forum and the advise I got was to hit. So I did. It took three good shots with my hand but it started working and has been working for three months now. When it goes out again, it to the dealer it must go.

I think by now all the techs out there have mastered the fine art of removing the instrument panel bezel without damage .If you want to attempt to fix it your self do a quick search .I answered a post with some directions about how to remove the bezel .

Did you also know that to take out the dash the firewall needs to be loosened requiring full engine removal? Yes, it does seem that the entire car was built around that little clock.

Jens, what type of bulb is in the clock(out of warranty)? want to pick one up at kragen? $8 at dealer

take it to the dealer only took them 40 min to do it
