Or is it repairable? Could ir be fixed and repainted....

I need to take care of 6 door dings on left side of the car... and Car paint detailing does not hurt either... now it big time body care...

Damn it... I pretty I went to the first "reputable" Collision center, fine lines autobody.

Guess how much I was quoted.... An ass whopping $1195 to fix the bumper and the driver's door dings!!!....

Wait sec, when I asked about paint detailing (wash and wax)... I was quoted $750-$1,000 because my car has paint overspray...!!!

That is a total of $2,000 to $2200 to fix a bumper, some door dings and wash and wax....

Now, I see myself in the wrong business....

Have you tried those plastic-weld places. They can usually "weld" the cut together.

:P

I don't know anyone in your area. I used to drive a place on the way to work all the time in Calgary.

You can buy it for the DIY too. I bought some for the front valence of my wife's car, but I sold the car before I got to the plastic weld (so I don't know how well it worked).

I'd check your local yellow pages, and go down to a shop and check out their work. I'm just thinking it'll probably cost you $50 to fix it (without paint stuff) versus the $400-$1100 for a new one. To bad there isn't any good body kits out there. Perfect time for an upgrade!

BTW: Those paintless dent clinics do wonders for door dings! When we bought our '01, we had only 1000 miles on it, and the wife slips on the truck running board and smokes the truck door into the car door. Can we say I was pissed?!?!

Anyways, the paintless dent place took it out, and you couldn't tell where the ding was (and it as pretty large!). It cost $100 CND, but it was worth it.
