HELP I NEED HELP thx

Hey Guys I need your help.

My front passenger seat is all F*^ked up.

First of all the bolt that holds the seat to the car on the right side came loose and fell off. So I put that back in.

Now only the left half of the seat moves forward and backwards. The right side doesnt move at all.

I was wondering if we had any "How to's" on the seats. Or, if any one can give me some tips to take seat out and fix.

Thank you,

Pat

Take it to the dealer. Something like that, most Acura dealers would check it out for free I bet.

check the path of the tracks, one time i had a penny in one of the tracks and it wouldnt move the seat. i was about to take it to the dealer when i noticed it. any slight obstruction just stops the seat from moving. I doubt this is your problem since the bolt fell out, its probably related to that, but worth a look.

OK...starighten the seat out as best as possible...then look under the front of it and u'll see a cable going from one side of the track to the other...it's slipping inside. Uncrew the covers and pull out the cable...then clean it and re-lube w/ some new grease. Then insert inside of the motors again making sure it seats properly inside both motors...should work fine. If it doesn't then u could have a broken motor or when u removed the seat u somehow crimped a wire of cut one. Good luck...and iff all else fails use ur warranty
