Help hardwiring the remote display for the V1

My V1 should be arriving in a few days, but I'm a little uncertain on how to conceal the wire for the remote display...

I read over Shawn S's 'how-to' for the V1, but he really didn't mention how he concealed the wire from the fuse box to the remote unit.

A forum search really didn't yield any good results. Anyone care to chime in???

Oh... And is there a better place to mount the remote display other than where Shawn and most others have it???

Thanks!

Where the steeringwheel pivots for tilting, run the wire thru it, then reach under the dash and connect it to the hardwire plug. tie wrap the excess wire.

I was anal about placement of my remote display and concealing the wires. Here are links to the relevant posts I made at the time, they should help you out:

Well, it took me all of 15 minutes to get the thing installed. I ended up going with Shawn S's directions (thanks Shawn). I thought about going down by the gear shift, but I wanted to keep the remote display somewhere, where I wouldn't have to take my eyes off the road.

Anyhoo... I've been out this afternoon, and already found two of those bastards trying to hide.

Thanks for all the replies...
