Help!!!! Gear Wont Shift From Park To Drive

The gear is locked in park. It wont shift, I had to use the shift release in order to move the gears from park to drive. Has this happened to anyone? I have to use a screwdriver each time I have to change gears. PLEASE ADVISE. I hope its not my tranny

Do you have Comptech sways? If so, they might be installed wrong. Pinching the shift cable, & preventing it from shifting. Happend to me.

I know someone with an RSX that had the same problem, he called the dealership and they towed it in for him. He got it back and it didn't happen again. I forget what they replaced/fixed
