Help! This car is fricking dangerous...

Had my first long distance drive from Seattle to Vancouver, Canada...

Every time I would see a Maxima, Beemer or Vette, I would pull up to see if they wanted to 'play'....

Man! This car is dangerous as I cannot resist the temptation of showing them my s-type emblem on my trunk...

Ai ya!

Also a nice feeling knowing I can fly around them with a touch of the gas...

Dude, you are crazy if you think you can smoke a Vette (300-350 bhp; zero-to-sixty from 5.2 - 5.6) Bimmers, if stock, do not stand a chance. Now, the new Maxima with 6-speed will have you looking at the new clear lenses from a quarter-mile away.

Be careful what you say.

I took the TypeS emblem off my trunk.

That way I don't feel bad if i lose and if I don't want to race it doesn't look like I'm no fun in a fast car.

Unlike you guys, I want the 'underlings' to feel fear when they see my S-type emblem...

I am toying with the idea of getting these plates..

CLS doesn't mean jack shit on the road...esp. in Seattle...I've never had anyone do a double take look at my silver CLS. Something about the car just doesn't catch people's eye around here.

I haven't seen another Silver CLS except for one in Chinatown with 19" Chrome lowenhart BR-5's...I think they were lowenharts..

I've only seen like 2 black CLS', one red, and one silver...all of those while I was riding with someone else in another car.

You lower your ride? I'll race ya

I have had the car for 2 weeks exactly and have not seen another CL-S at all. You are right that people do not seem to take a second look at the car. I have only noticed one person (female) point at my car approvingly. Too bad she was not a babe..

As for the S-type comment.... , it shows my age actually. It comes from E-type (Jaguar). I stand corrected.

Am waiting for a NW meet. Am also looking at getting my upper strut bar next week but will need to make sure that I get the bolts torqued down correctly.

Let me see your 'Type-S' symbol. Maybe after you cut the shoulder and cut me off in traffic I might get to see it.

Ahhh, i c.

NW meet? Man, I recall someone setting that up near bellingham or somewhere up north - way up north - and like only 5 people showed...I recall 5..but it could be less than that.

What part of the NW are you from? Perhaps I'll try to "bump" into you one of these times. I'm with a lowered CLS that is "debadged" to avoid racing...but I will race...all the way up to 140mph...

Too bad it's raining these days..SUCKS ASS.

Just let me know when and I'll be there for the next meet. Look in my sig and you'll see all the meets I've been too. I also noticed too that nobody looks at the CL's period up here. Only at night when the lights are on and thats about it.

Patsmere-

Cool, I'll do that. I hardly see fellow CLS'ers...kinda lonely

If there is a meet, I'll try to be there. I'd like to meet more people anyway. If you are planing one or know of one, be sure to hook me up!

I kinda like it - not having this model around town everywhere you go, you see...it's kinda "exclusive"..

NTASLPR Not a sleeper. I guess it is not a very good plate since no one could figure it out and I really have no mods to boast.

S-type comment. No, I did not steal it from Jaguar. It is just that I have always like the E-type Jags..

So, we have a Marysville CLSer, a Seattle CLSer and me (Federal Way). I guess we should shoot to meet up in Seattle since it is a middle point (maybe a little N of Seattle).

Best to do this weekday since weekends are so busy...

I ain't' got no job so I'm free.

About to do a paper route but this car EATS TOO MUCH GAS DAMMIT!

You in Federal Way? We should do a Vancouver meet. I like Richmond Dim sum baby

I need to meet some more CLS'ers. I feel so left out when everyone from the East Coast seems to know each other very well.

There's one guy: MFFDVR I think he drives a black CLS. He's from around town too.

That's like, uhh...5 people confirmed...ahah time to hook up.

DDT-TypeS:

If we try to get together, dim sum will be difficult since that is a weekend thing and I really do not think that it is a good idea to leave our cars in Chinatown. Our cars will be in Hong Kong by the time we finish lunch....

Hm.... There must be somewhere where we can park our cars and eat outside.. like burgers & fries. Any suggestions????

I'm a vegeterian..but I'm down with a chicken sandwich

Seems like we are getting nailed with wind and rain for the entire week!

well, if we are going to meet, it'll have to be on a good sunny day which isn't going to happen this week. Our cars will be OK. That's what INSURANCE is for. I don't pay them bank every year just cause it's required by WA law!

I seriously think we should get a meet going. I dunno, lemme see if there is sun next week and we can perhaps have a small gathering of CL(s) owners up here in the NW.

My AIM is: Tokako Tokiwa

bye

PS- MGS2 is out! DAmn, it is so TIGHT!
