You probably don't need a new one. You can just fix it, instead of replacing it. Yes, dealer only.
Can we get a DIY how-to?
Pics too?

Yes. They are very intricate and tedious to do but it is possible. Generally there broken striped gears or bad servo motors. Some cases I've seen bad limit switches and those are easy fixes. Parts (if broken) can be a PIA to find or locate.

Bullshit. I retarded monkey could fix it. It was the EASIEST fix I've made to my car. The DIY will take only 1 hour max, if you're a complete novice. 30 mins for any member with some experience.

There is a DIY on the TL side. Gotta search for it. TL side is more populated with repair, maintenance, and DIY. The CL side is where the performance is at.

Ah, you got me when you called bullshit!

Remember, I'm an auto electrician my profession and usually when I make/give responses in this forum, I speak in general terms. Almost everything on Honda/Acura is very simple to repair. I'm talking MOST car manufacturers don't instill simplistic approaches to their design and engineering. I do many actual component repairs daily and see all sorts of designs and always admired (and appreciated) Honda's simple approach their cars.
