Headlights prob

I installed oem passenger side hid bulbs and a month later driver side bulb is dim and blinking. High beams switch is off but high beams are on and dim. What is the problem?

simple way to see if it's a bulb is to switch with the other side,
most likely the ballast though.
Ballast start going bad when blinking.
When the are all done you will have weird lights.
