$175 at a local performance shop. not bad i'd say. acura dealership wanted $375!!!

i would if i had some power tools and a lift. a little jack and a socket wrench is not worth the effort.

You probably won't chirp second with aftermarket rubber unless its really cold out, or raining. I did it regularly with stock michelins but only every once in a while with my Pirelli's

Anyway congrats! it will sound great with the CT exhaust.

Well I went with lighter wheels too, and tires that actually stick to the ground unlike the michelins. They just stuck off the launch and I got a 2.17 60ft time .. that helped alot.

Hoping for 13's with the Unichip in...

jus got back from a spirited drive around town. all i got to say is WOW. i luv it!! its almost like gettin a new car. the first couple of redline runs didnt excite me too much, i was kinda disappointed at first. but then i guess they warmed up a lil and wow, did it run thru vtec like that. 1st gear is almost gone in no time, and 2nd gear in vtec is just amazing now, its the ultimate adrenaline rush, the sound of the intake and the pure acceleration is just amazin. i was gettin all excited again like the first day i got ma car. i KNOW that i could easily run a sub 14.5 now. cant wait to go to the track. as for sound, i wish it was a lil louder. it does make the exhaust note slightly deeper and at start up it has a deeper vroom, but other than that i didnt hear to much change. all in all im glad i bought the headers. i kno im gonna have a heavy foot now for the next couple of weeks. if anyone was debating whether or not to get headers... GET THEM.

Yes I have done every single thing on all of my cars myself (including the turbo install so far). I enjoy it as a hobby and I love learning. I also have a bunch of tools and a garage to work in which is the main reason a lot of people don't do work themselves. Overall I think converting my Accord from an auto --> 5-speed was my most ambitious project so far. The turbo really isn't that difficult... so far

Congrats on the header install... When I had the CT intake and headers installed, it felt like I had a new car that ripped more than before. But wait to you get a S/C, it's ten times the excitement.
