DON'T DO IT! Especially if you want to lower the rear a bit more. I've seen a couple CLs here in Miami with 20s too and they've all had the 4X4 look.

4x4? i have 19s and sometimes i think they're 10s! imo, another inch or two would fill the gap perfectly.

well, i didnt plan on having 6 in my car, but one night after a heat game, i ran into a couple of friends and we squeezed into my car. i know the back seat is for 2, but there were 3 girls, 3 guys...and none of us were obese...so it looked like an orgy in there but no tire rub! i was driving right on the steering wheel though. i thought that was the perfect test for my car. u turns are not a problem at all. i really think the cl can take 20s without a problem.

anyone know where to find a custom grill??? (not the chicken wire!)

Next time you see one of the CLs with 20s on it, check to see how high off the ground it's riding. It's much higher than stock and in my opinion looks horrible. Yes, the CL did make my 19s look small too, but I just don't think this car is made for 20s. I thought 20s may look good too until I actually saw how bad all the CLs down here with 20s look.

Zaino. I've tried others, and I'm still trying more. Zaino time after time does the best job.

I like all of them, but not trying to kiss Mantis' ass but those pics do not do that car justice at all. That I think is one of the cleanest CL's out there, it just needs some window tint. lol!

from another thread...

Thanks, they are actually off of the car, and not the ones listed in my Sig. I replaced them with HKS Superdraggers. I remember when I picked the tires up from you, you said you liked the way they sounded too. Anyway, the ones in the above pic are the Thermal R&D Axlebacks.

There are a few companies making 20x7.5 rims with 45 offset. Those shouldn't rub...I have 19's on my car...I can drive with my exhaust dragging on the ground and I still don't have tires rubbing. I think that some of the big gaudy chrome 20's look too big, but if you get a tuner looking 20 on there it'd look fine. Take xkrazix's car for example. He has iforged 20s and they look amazing on his car. If you're doing 20's, just make sure you get the right width and offset. Also, they make a 225/30/20 now...not cheap though.
