Only been a week since I got the AEM CAI installed. I got 24.5 MPG which is about my average. I can tell that this tank is going to be less because I am spending a lot more time running in the VTEC range because of the sweet sound of the engine w/CAI at WOT.

I have the AEM CAI. Sorry, but I don't know the conversion from metric to imperial units...I'm Canadian, eh? Anyways, before my AEM CAI was installed, I was averaging about 380-400 km on a full tank(before the gas light comes on). Now, I average out to 430-450 km before the light comes on.

Finally! That's what I am sayin' bro I get the same mileage as you -- that translates to barely 21-22mpg. No clue how our american brothers are getting 25+ all the time -- we must be lead-footed

I think it has something to do with city vs highway driving/fuel consumption. I assume that there would be more highway driving down in the U.S. since everything is spread so far apart. If you've ever been to Vancouver, you'll know that everything is centrally located. I rarely ever go on the highway. In fact, I could probably go a full tank of gas without ever hitting a highway. About 99% of the time I drive about 50 to 60 km/hr...occasionally, I do hit 70 or 80 km/hr(yes, I drive like a grandmother on Sunday ) On the occasional trip that I take down to Seattle, I do manage to break 600 km on a full tank...but, that is because it's almost non-stop highway driving. What's it like in Montreal?

Considering that the published fuel consumption specs are 19/29 for the city/highway, I don't think 21-22 is that bad at all for mostly city driving

I have been getting VERY shitty mileage even WITH the CAI.

But that's cuz I'm constantly getting into the VTEC range

I should cut back on VTEC-ing
