Haha! I guess I just can't stay away from those Hondas!

The Z got a new friend yesterday. My wife's '03 Accord V6 EX sedan. This car is in a completely different class from the Z and I LOVE IT all the same. So smooth, so quiet, so comfortable! Honda has really done a number on this car. The interior material quality is outstanding. No more slick, cheap, Japanese leather. Every stitch of cowhide has a nice, supple grain to it and reminds me of a German product more than anything else. Much nicer than my Z, but it is a purpose-built sports car so I can forgive its interior shortcomings. The doors have an incredibly solid THUNK when closing. I can't remember my CL-S sounding this tight. I would not even consider a TL-S despite the 20HP deficit. The Accord is really a tier above in interior quality.

We looked at a lot of cars in the $25K-$40K range and kept coming back to the Accord. The Audi A4 Avant was a front-runner in our decision making, but I couldn't bring myself to commit when Audi/VW continues to have those ridiculous coil-pack issues. My wife REALLY liked the 6MT TSX although I was not as impressed with the four-banger and the heat-soak they suffer in the hot, Texas Summers. She doesn't like the body roll of the Accord so I'll be swapping out sways as soon as I figure out who's making sways for the '03 sedan. Bigger and wider wheels wouldn't hurt, but I don't want to cut into my mod budget.

We scored a fresh one right off of the truck. Two miles on the odometer. No bullshit dealer add-ons. No fabric treatment, no splash guards, not even those hideous pin stripes that Honda dealers are famous for.

Wow, very nice website and what a immaculate log you've kept. I'm impressed as hell. Now get some interior pics going, gotta have those.

Good luck with the accord, I love the new interiors too.

Let me warn you with regards to one thing. Nissan dealers as a whole usually SUCK. Don't expect the Red Carpet treatment you may have received from the Acura dealer. It took working through three service writers and two service managers at my dealer before I was happy. I'm taken care of now, but in the beginning it was a f*cking nightmare!

It's actually three. To the right of the Z is a single-door, third bay full of shit. Mostly spare tires.

It's funny. I drive a Z as well as an 03 Accord EX (4-cylinder unfortunately).

I love the Accord, but it has been prone to rattles similar to the CL now that it's getting close to 6 months old.
