H and R sport springs questions
Hi, i'm about to buy H and R sport springs from a friend of mine, and i just want to know if i put these springs on my stock suspension with 6500 miles. How long do u think my suspension will last until i need to replace it?? and is chamber kit required on these springs? thx in advance

Trying to predict how long a suspension parts will last under any circumstances is difficult it really depends on where you drive and how you drive.I have seen some Acuras go their entire service life needing little more than a set of ball joints and routine alignments. On the other hand some of our customers blessed with daily commutes to New York City seems to destroy suspension at a higher rate.Lowering a car does affect the life of struts but it again depends on how much lower the car is than stock and again how and where you drive.Using H&R sport springs you should be ok for a long time to come yet but again your results could be different .
If after spring installation the rear suspension shows more than 2 degrees of camber it is time for camber correcting suspension arms in the back .Most of the time the springs dial in about 1.5 degrees of camber which I would not worry about .Increase your tire rotation schedule up to every 5000 and you should be ok .The front suspension in TL"s and CL's are not as susceptible to camber change so you should be ok there .But do have the car aligned after lowering and let's see where your car came in.Toe is the other big tire killer and it will need to be reset to factory specs to avoid chewing up the rubber in a big way .
