H&R Race springs help

H&R Race springs help

I'm thinkin of gettin h&r race springs used just for the front to give my car the raked look and drop the front some more,

has anybody used these sprimgs on the stock shocks, thats what i'm worried about, i dont want to have to replace the shocks soon.

any info or advice would be appreciated

u will need to get new shocks. i have em on my accord and the ride was pretty harsh with stock shocks. got tokico blues and it was almost night n day.

Not only will you need new shocks.. but it's not recommended to mix and match springs. You'll have different springs from different companies that have different spring rates installed on different parts of the car... so the handling of the car may be altered in a negative way.

you might sacrafice handling instead of aiding it if ya do that. Your rear end will feel pretty loose on hard turns. You'll be in oversteer city.

i have H&R race springs. it's a beautiful drop but the ride is so harsh on stock shocks. i need to change my shocks....

I am running RACE setup for over 9 months know. I think the drop is perfect, I did switch out to Konis though with the change over. If you don't do it at the same time, then it will only be a matter of time till the stocks give out and you'll have to anyway. I also agree with the comment about running the same brand of springs on all four struts.
