gunmetal process

Anybody know how the gunmetal finish is achieved???

also i know the mustang gts have gunmetal painted rims... (doesnt look genuine)

how would 03 stype rims look with gunmetal finish??? also what would be the most practical way to get this??? if its paint... what type/color and precautions must be taken for rims???

Don't think that would work well on rims. I think it's similar to the black oxide finish on impact sockets. What makes that type of finish shine is actually a coating of oil. Without the oil the will rust when any water touches them. Not a good out door finish.

They are just painted a color that looks like gun metal. Those are sharp rims.
