So guys I'm finally going to break down and make a build thread after almost 3 years of owning this car. To start off my dad bought this car back in August 2007, and it had 120k on the odometer. I'm not gonna say how much he paid for it since i think it was ridiculously overpriced but i know i got a good deal on it back in August 2009. My dad only charged me $1800 to take the CL off his hands.

Anyway the car is a 2001 Acura CL-S pushing now over 168k on the odo. It is also a 5AT and I'm on my second transmission maybe third very soon considering I just got a CEL reading P0740. At least the tranny is still under warranty.

Now for the mods I've completed so far. As far as engine mods go all I have is an AEM cold air intake, Comptech headers, and Greddy Evo 2 catback. With suspension I'm running Tein SS coilovers lowered about 2" all around and slightly tire tucking in the rear while sitting on my fourth set of rims and most aggressive yet (soon to go wider). Right now my wheel set up consist of 18x8.5 Stern ST-5 wheels (way too heavy) and 225/40 Nankang NS-II tires (they stretch well). My fenders are also rolled and my bumper tabs are shaved.

By the way the above pics are from May 2011...since, i have painted hood SSM and sadly got into a fender bender which was not my fault so i didnt have to pay anything and my insurance stayed the same. so right now im looking for a stock front bumper. Pm me if anyone has one they're willing to sell.

 

I might have a front bumper, but Im in VA and its NBP.

Possibly. When my new bumper comes in, Ill see what type of box (if any) it has. But I think shipping would be stupid expensive.

update:
in the mail today i got my lip kit. to be installed one day this week when its not raining.
