it looks way off in color. i understand the new one will be brighter for some time, but it almost looks like its not a HID, its kind of yellowish. its a OEM philips bulb purchased from the acura dealer. Is the color supposed to be that off, also the old buld shattered, it didn't just burn out, is that common for a HID, there is no water/moisture in the headlight itself.

you should replace your other light now also - the colors will really never be exactly the same. and it will take about 100 hours of use for the new bulb to burn in and look like a normal HID light.

^^ what he said. your other bulb is broken in already, so it'll be more blue in color in comparison to your new bulb.

i knew i would have a "break in " period, but didn't think the color would be soooo off. just as bright, just not a blueish.
