Got beat by an IS300

Just got back from lunch, 2 races in 5 hours, geez. Well this time I got beat by my friend's IS300 which I thought I would win. He is tihs guy from work. He was behind me at the red. Light turned green, i went normally, he cuts to the next lane, as soon as he cuts to the next lane I fliped it over to SS already knowing he would wanna race. He went next to me and smiled at me, then he just floored it cause I heard his engine. I was like oh no u didnt, droped to 2nd and floored it. He started out about half a car length in front of me, I passed him easily and by the time we got to about 80 I was about 2 car lengths in front, then a turn comes(small turn like 50 degrees maybe) i was going about 97-98 already, so i slowed down to take the turn, in the middle of the turn he passes me, my tires were squeeking, a little slidding during the turn. Right out of the turn he was about 3 car spaces in front, I floored the gas again but could only catch up a little, after like 30-40 seconds he flashed his lights at about 2 car spaces up front, i was going about 130mph. He must have been going at least 130 to keep the lead. Once we got back to the parking lot at work, he was like "nice run kid, i had to keep the pedal to the floor to keep the lead." I was soo pissed, if it wasnt for that turn, i would have beaten him... Now I need better cornering, should i get bigger/better tires/rims first or sways??? Which would help me out the most out of those 2 if I can only get 1. I can't wait to race him again.

Lexus handle little better then CL_S, but it is slower then our car. Get good tires and sways and you should be fine. Good run and awsome story.

Good luck on second run.

P, if i have an S I would have killed him. I saw a road test they did and the CLS KILLED the IS300 in every way. The IS300 does 0-60 in like 7.6 secs.

5 speed IS does 0-60 in 6.8 according to Sports Car International (one of the best, unbiased mags out there period)

The Supercharged IS 300 comes out in May with 305hp and the L-tuned package.

I have driven both cars (and the auto IS) and if the CL-s not only is quicker, but FEELS quicker.
