A good question for exhaust gurus!

I've been wanting to buy this for my car before I put on mufflers.

http://www.quicktimeperformance.com/QTEC/index.html

My questions are:

1. should this be placed before the catalytic converter?

2. I know this system will effect our emission controls, but will it damage anything?

Thanks guys.

Someone was already doing something like this. It was called a dump pipe.

uhm, I don't think it would change the sound of the car at all. the magnaflow will sound however it sounds on other cars. but when you open that up it will completely bypass the exhaust ever getting to your mufflers and dump it out that pipe.

Not bad it gained 21 wheel horse power and 24 pounds of torque on a WRX.
