Is this a good price for brake service???

Hey All,

Just called a local brake service shop that will do a complete brake service (lube, brake fluid, brake pads (acura), clean, etc...basically everything....and even resurface front and back) for $250.

Is this a good price?

That sounds pretty good. Hopefully your rotors are in good shape. One of mines were cracked and the other warped when I got mine done.

If your rotors are warped, get them replaced. If you just need a regular brake job, thats a good deal.

hmm...seems the majority is replace...I guess I'll order the rotoras from ACP.com, but would the acura pads still be ok with the rotoras?

Raptorcls, did you replace your rotors and keep the existing pads. If so how did that work?

Be careful about the quality of the pads they are going to install. The CL-S has a partial ceramic compound. I've seen cheap replacement organic pads not transfer heat properly and completely crack a rotor in a couple thousand miles. The rotors on the CL are already iffy to begin with.
