Good price?

I spoke to my mechanic just now, he runs an Only Hondas shop in spartanburg, sc.

when i was looking at the 105k mile service, the only things i cant do myself are the timing belt and water pump change...

he says its going to be $550 for that service...

deal or no deal?

Yea i was thinking that was a pretty straight deal considering the timing belt kit (timing belt and water pump +various little parts) online costs about 150-200 dollars...

Sounds like a very good deal to me. If you could, pm me the details of the shop. I'm in the Charleston area and due for this service soon. Thanks.

damn I need to find a shop like this around St. Louis. A honda dealership quoted me $1,050 and the local Acura quoted me $950...I'm at 108,000 and I'm finding it really hard to not just buy headers

Pretty good deal, I had my water pump & timing belt done for $460 (new OEM parts @ local Honda/Acura shop & tuner). Dealerships around here wanted about ~$700.

If you trust them, go for it.
