Good dealers in So Cal
Are there any good Acura dealerships in So. Cal that don't give you shit for having mods on your car?
I've been hearing good stuff about Glendale
What are some other good ones particularly around San Gabriel and the Riverside area?
Also, how is Alhambra, are they mod friendly?

I bought my CLS from Power Acura in Torrance. I read one negative remark about them so far on this forum. I have to take my car back to Power this week because I found the rotors to warp after driving the car for 10mins plus. I hope I have better experience with them than others. I will report back. I don't have any mods on my car though.

i'm gonna be commuting to school to and from the riverside area from the san gabriel area, or i'll be living in riverside, so i want to have a few mod-friendly dealerships in the vicinity lined up so i'll have no hassles with getting stuff fixed or in the case i need to get a new tranny. What are your opinions about...
1. acura of riverside
2. metro acura
3. thomas acura
4. cerritos acura
thanx guys

come on up to Bakersfield to Superior Acura. It's a little out of the way, but they will give the price you want. Too far for you to consider, but the service department is good here.

What kind of mod do you have? If it is just Headers, intake, sways, springs, pulleys and etc. I think all dealers should be fine with that. If you have a supercharge, then all dealers will bitch because the Mechanic don't get pay for removing your supercharge.

I just got my car done from getting warranty work done, a bunch of little things like chipped inside door handle, the window channel (the plastic lining around the window was coming loose on both doors), they replaced the drivers side seat base because it was making loud noise and was going bad, the hood was not opening up very easily and they adjusted the latch, checked my fuel mileage to see why it was going bad (the test came out the about 30 mpg), had them check throttle body and tranny (but the guy that serviced it wasn't there and hte service advisaor wasn't there today, so i gotta call them up tomorrow and see whats up). Tried to get the servicee guys to notice the lag in shifting and the slight shaking when releasing the gas pedal because i thought the tranny was going bad, but they said they don't see anything wrong)
Overall i think i got some great service there, ,got to drive around a TSX for a little bit (not too impressed by it, has no power, but smooth acceleration and shifting and it has nice gauges).
I went to Glendale Acura and my servicec advisor is Tony Gonzales, he was very good, listened to all my concerns and did everything he could to get things done quickly. He was always good to take note of everything and he called me to give me updates on the car, most placees don't seem to do that, and he gave me frequent updates even when I did not request it..i liked that.

Does glendale still have an acura? I know they tore it apart because BMW was building their big dealership. Maybe they just moved, i'm not sure...
