Well gentleman it was fun. I am getting married and decided that I am going to need a larger car. I have my sights set on an 02 BMW 540. I figure its already fast and I will have all that extra room for the baby we plan on having next year. She's got a Kompressor so I figured I would get the Bimmer. Would of liked an M5 but I don't think I could swing it. The BM gives me mid 5's for 0-60 time and thats with a car seat. So I will post some pics when I bring it home.

 

Congrats on the 540. I had a '97 for awhile and they are certainly a thrill ride.

Not to burst your bubble, but the 0-60 times are a bit slower than you list. Current reviews of the 2003 540 6spd put the -60 times closer to 6.00 to 6.20.

In any case, I think the car feels faster.

 

What has a Kompressor, not the Bimmer. BMW dowsnt believe in Supercharging their cars. That is a Benz thing.
