Get dusted by a Neon S/RT.....
Anyone seen this!! Dodge is back into the muscle/sport car market mode again. Trying to attract younger buyers and american enthusiasts. Neon S/RT 220hp, rims, high spoiler, interior design, 5 or 6 speed (not sure), expect it to compete against the RSX. It is nowhere as classy though. Also Dodge RAM S/RT, a ram 1500 with the Viper 500/500/500 engine in it, something like a Ford Lightning (can you say 6mpg?) They're also thinking about making a hatch back thing that has like 320hp i think ( it looks pretty cool actually).

I saw all this on Motor TRend tv show on Speedvision this week. It was from the LA auto show I think. Also Hot Rod magazine made a '02 Dodge 1500 conversion they took out the motor of a brand new dodge with like 83 miles on it and threw in a new Hemi. It made 610hp . And I believe it was probably cheaper than buying the S/RT version.

there is a little about the new SRT lines for Dodge in the april edition of Car and driver. The neon will supposedly be the quickest sedan under 20k. It is still a POS in my eyes.

I am just glad to see american companies starting to remove their craniums from their hindquarters.
