This thing, the GAS Vapor Canister Purging valve is driving me crazy!

This thing is just behind the brake fluid resover, near the firewall....

It is pinging contiounsly and very loud when I idle in D5 at a stop light. It freakin annoying and embarssing for a $30k car.

Is this annoying sound common with all CL-S. It only happens in D5.

Any one has a solution, did a visit to dealer fixed this problem?

You mean the thing that ticks when the car is running? I was told it's 100% normal and there is nothing that can be done about it.

I had another noise that my AC pulley was making. That had to be replaced.

Yes that things that ticks (loud) when in D5, when you idle and break at stop light. Put it in N and the sound will go away.

It's very loud.....and annoying we will see in 15 min what the dealer service rep has to say....
