Gas mileage is improving
Being used to GSR/RSX-X mileage, my only lament about the CL-S6 was 21/25 city/highway mileage recorded in winter (Ibought the car about 11/27/02). The FI used more gas in winter because the density of the air is higher. I am now traveling about once a month between Glenview, Il (about 10 miles north of O'Hare to Holland, Michigan, a round trip of about 370 miles. Keep in mind that in Illinois you must come to four complete, dead stops for toll booths.
With two on board, both trips I got 25.1 mpg in January at 80 mph on cruise. Today, we left late, so when I got into Michigan I went 90 mph for about 15 minutes to make up time. I got 29.1 mpg! . The car had about 3,000 miles on the odo in January, and today has 6,900.
What kind of mileage are you six speeders getting? Please state odo reading.
While I am here, the car wash fucked up one of my wheels. Does anyone have a stock 2003 wheel for sale at a reasonable price? Thanks!

I've only driven my 6 speed for a month, had 3500mi when I bought it. I measured about 25 mostly highway with some city with 3 passengers one weekend. I hope it improves with time. I'm going to start tracking it again. Since I was new with this clutch I was using more gas than I do now.

I've got 5500 miles on my 03 6spd, and I've noticed that the mileage is getting better too. Either that or it a combination of it's warmer out and/or the gas stations aren't selling the "winter blend" anymore

I have definately noticed that my Gas Mileage has improved with the Addition of the Icebox ! I haven't had my foot in it that much to see the difference. I usually have to get Gas every Sunday, but have noticed that since I've added the ICEBOX I've pushed it back a day Three weeks in a Row.

I am averaging 27.2 MPG with 3500 miles on the car. Best of 30.1, worst of 25.9. Doesn't get very good mileage in the City... about 21. But on the freeway in 6th it does pretty well...

I miss the computer my 88 Legend Coupe had that displayed average gas mileage, CURRENT gas mileage- real time data on current rate of mpg, had fluid readouts for radiator and wiper water, I believe, and some other data. It was nice. Couldn't believe my more expensive G2 Legend dropped it.
I know it will be mandatory for cars to display tire pressure soon, but I liked these other readouts a lot, esp the current rate of mpg.

Okay, just got back from my first road trip from Phoenix to LA to San Jose to Sacramento then back to LA and back to Phoenix. I recorded the mileage and stuff and will post the mileage I got. Drove mostly around 85-95 mph on the hwy with some traffic when I was in town. Used A/C half the way too. See my thread soon on my mileage...and hopefully some cool pics!
