I really doubt anyone makes one so your best bet would be to have it chromed yourself list price is $23.92 so buying one and chroming it is probably a better option than having yours stripped and chomed

on a side note
why would a chrome spot in the middle of your quarter panel look good?, i understand shaving the gas door but this i dont.

I think he means that on some cars they don't have gas door release switches and have the bump on it to open it..

Like on some custom trucks and cars, they relocate it to the bed in a truck, or behind the liscence plate in a car or I've seen one on an old nomad wagon where the taillight swung out and it was behind the taillight.

But yea, It would look retared on a CL

My dad had a Triumph TR-6, I always loved where the gas cap was located and the aircraft style...there are just a few modern cars with those types..just cannot think of one now....sorry...

we had a 88 Jag V12 that had 2 tanks you had to fill like that. What a PITA! You had a switch on the dash when one tank ran dry..typical Brit engineering.

it would be like 1995 all over again.

a big chunk of chrome breaking up the side of a nicely painted car only detracts from the clean lines, IMO.

like the door handles don't already do that

I still don't know why they did chrome handles, painted would of looked 100x's cleaner

I think a chrome gas door would look awesome if you accented it with chrome fender trim and chrome door edge guards.

I ran into a first gen the other week that had chrome trim on every spot possible. He even had it around the lining of the trunk and wherever fenders lined up. It was AWESOME

Was it a gold 99 3.0? If so, that's mine. I was thinking of stacking another wing on top of my existing wing. That would look extra sporty...especially with some chrome trim around the edge of both wings.

they look good on my car w/ the other chrome accents and polished wheels.

the gas door is 5 times bigger than the door handle. the polished sparco door is one thing, but chroming the stock gas door is just

you just say that because they are there and you don't have a choice but to deal w/ them. You know it'd look cleaner painted

I'm still pissed they didn't paint or atleast black out the chrome trim around the windows like they are doing on the TL and Accord now.
