I continued, and he started braking erratically even though there's nobody in front of him. I move out of his lane, overtake him. I hear him floor it behind me, I look over and drop it in 3rd in SS, we're doing about 60mph to start. I know I coulda pushed it into 2nd but I didn't feel the need.

He was approaching me faster than what I was going, and as I dropped it in 3rd and gave it a go... he passes me by a carlength, I reel him in, we're dead even for 10 mph or so. I hit VTEC and his power drops off while I'm still doing 6500+ rpm in 3rd. It was at like 7:15 in the morning, so very empty streets, but I still don't like street racing.... but the beach on my left, a fucking idiot on my right, and an empty, sweeping road ahead.

It was kinda cool to hand him his ass, I have to say.

'swhat I'm sayin'. It's hard for me though, I rarely go under 70-80 and the limit is 50. For reference, I work between PCH & Kanan and Neptunes (the Fast and Furious restaurant) on PCH.

i dont even have a cl-s (2.2 5 spd 97) but awesome kill nonetheless. teach those arrogant g35'ers a lesson or two (no way my 3000 lbs 4 banger can.)

i'm down south on PCH where the speed limit is 45... and the cops are like vultures .... i got a NASTY ticket 73 in a 45 on pch... $371..

Aren't you all supposedly "the next skylines" or something? Get this, I've actually seen a blue g35... rather, a blue "skyline" (a g35 with skyline on the trunk in place of infinity, + the monster wing to boot.)

If im wrong, then . I have no shame.

Making statements that drivers of a certain car are arrogant is wack IMO.

Exception: BMW drivers

And yes, the G35's are Skylines, just that people tend to think that the only Skyline is the GT-R, in which case, the G35's aren't.

Pretty sure it was an auto, so it wouldn'tve mattered much anyway. My higher rev range + earlier peak HP is pretty much what allowed me to walk this guy, cause it was a very short race. But a good one

very nice =D PCH is a very fun road to go down =D cops dont show up around there unless theres an accident or after 6 pm =D i used to have to deliever stuff down there and i would go around 9 am =D so very nice street it was 60mph + heaven for me from Beach Blvd until Corona Del Mar when it changes to 2 lane streets

well, I got a CLs 6spd and my dad owns a g35 sedan...Both cars are quick, we haven't actually lined them up, but i know 2nd place wouldn't be too far behind if we did. The g35 is a beast.

The G35 sedan 6mt = G35 coupe 6mt. The G35 coupe auto > G35 sedan auto (ECU timing). G35 6mt > G35 auto. Driver's race most of the time. The G35 6mt has done 13.9x stock. The G35 coupe auto has done 14.2 stock. The G35 sedan auto is has gotten 14.4 stock. These are of course the fastest times. Average, just add 0.3-0.5 seconds to the fastest times.

Most races depends on driver. Nice kill.
