the G35 is engineered to sound that way, from cylinder fire order to how the exhaust is shaped and length.

Your Acura will always sound like an acura.
no matter how much stuff you do to it; it'll still have that distinct acura sound.
again, it has to do with firing order and other factors.

the only thing you can do is make your acura a little louder, by either buying an after market exhaust kit or by cutting up your stock exhaust and adding and subtracting resonators/mufflers to your liking.

Swap to a VQ, that's the only way.

Magnaflow, Vibrant, Tanabe, Apexi, etc all make nice sounding exhausts. If I were doing it over again I'd go with custom piping and buy nice mufflers. You also have great options from the site vendors.

if the admins look at this thread; they'll see that in post #6 you moved it off topic....as everything before that is talking about exhaust and G35's.

100% TRUE - as a former 2007 g35 coupe owner you will never get that exact sound. Custom build your exhaust you'll be happy. Only reason why i dont have this car anymore is because of oil consumption issues.

any luck finding a CL6? they're hard to find these days. With their age, you'll likely have some maintenance to do on the car when you get it. Nothing major, but at this age, things like ball joints, bushings, mounts etc are well worn. You don't have your CL yet right?

What are your goals with the car? just looks/sound? Performance?

Its Not going to happen, especially with the type of attitude you have displayed towards the members on an open and free forum trying to help.

...geez exactly what i was thinking ! i sensed 0% "douchery" in justnspace's helpful replies to OP's pretty awkward request in an acura forum ... your best bet would be as RedRyder suggested --- switch over to VQ & have a great day.

ATTENTION everyone in the thread. Someone has displayed an attitude towards a MODERATOR. I repeat....an attitude towards a MODERATOR. Someone will soon be banned. Moderators are members as well. I don't think a certain amount of respect is automatically due them. However justnspace is an awesome member who is very knowledgeable. Rocco is just asking though.

So a G35 sounding exhaust. My answer.....I doubt it can be done. Although an Acura with a nice exhaust is more pleasant to my ears than a G35. My nephew has a G and it does sound nice but I've heard better Hondas and Acuras with the right set up.

Keep it up. You seem to be exhibiting the same disrespect and want to be argumentative.

The point was he came on here and asked a question. Justin was helpful and wasnt being a douche or a troll and there was zero need for his attitude. Much like yours.

Keep it up? Really? Come on now are we adults or what? I don't want to be argumentative at all. However respect is earned not blindly given....moderator or not. That is the part of your post that I have an issue with. That's the ONLY part I have the issue with. I haven't disrespected anyone in anyway. Just stating what I've observed. Just because he is a moderator doesn't not mean that he is to be automatically respected. He should be respected as a person lending information....not because he is a moderator. That's my point. On top of that you edited your original post 2 minutes before you commented on my post. Conveniently the word "moderator" was replaced with "member."
